i'll have to reconvert the skins... but it looks like Mick is already thinking about it 😁

the 8 bit skins use 256 indexed colors while the 24 and 32 bit skins use 20+ million. So for custom skins if you have a PC with sufficient resources the 24 bit would look a little better. The TGB default skin these days is very often (if not always) 32 bit 1024x1024.

If you use an older machine with limited resources in term of CPU/GPU and memory then is better to have all the skins in 1024 8 bit indexed you won't see a big difference  in any case.

... many THX for the link to Bright, Frankiek, I'll study it closely, as I started the job of converting the skins from 24 to 8 bits, but with FastStone this is very time consumming and boring, to say the least ...

Very small update...
I just noticed that the camouflage spots of the 73rd Squadron were the wrong color so I worked on correcting them, the skins were always added to the same reference package so you should redownload if you want to update the skin. Sorry for the inconvenience but as I always said I'm getting old and bad... 😁🤣

I'll use them with great pleasure in my WIP campaign (DCG) about the siege of Malta 41/43....player 'll not use them but 'll fly among them over the target!

But next campaign 'll be about North Africa....and the things 'll change!
