Glad you are happy with it milvipes. 8)

There are things still to do, Lods and arty spotting come to mind, smoke pods maybe, however, the chances of that happening now are slim so try and enjoy it as is. ;)

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

One of my favourite planes! I’m going to use it in my special operations mini-campaign. Perhaps I’ll add some ‘Allo Allo’ inspired parody missions too lol  ;D

Glad you like it FAA, I look forward to your campaign if you upload it for us all.  8)

Would be very satisfying to have a campaign made for this, it was a unique type and one of those unsung heroes of the war.  ;)

Oh, this sounds great!
The type holds insofar a special place for me as it was the very first model kit I got as a kit.

Hello guys, I have been sent a couple of files to improve certain aspects of the Lysander.  ;)

Here for your pleasure from Birdman, improves the existing gunsight fix and also changes the Lod
figures to improve the long distance view of the aircraft although there are still no lods:

The second is from Andy (SAS~vampire_pilot) and adds a hook to the TT version of the Lysander to allow it
to tow a glider:

Updated link in the first page added 14th February 2020.

These changes are already in BAT but the guys kindly sent me the links to allow the rest of you the opportunity
to improve the Lysander in your own game version, thank you very much to both, really appreciated. 8)

I had a issue getting the tow to work at first, I had the existing weapons mod active that shows my 3d hook, once
I changed to default all was good, after that I also found I could activate my 3d parts again as well through the
arming screen so it all looked the part. ;)

Take care.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Great! Thank you. The more improvements for Lysander, then better this plane deserves it, 8)
Unfortunately I can't download them because none of the links work.

By the way, this is my third approach to download these links, I already had a power failure and no internet, what else will happen? :) :-X ::(
Best regards,
Piotrek

Hello Piotrek, sorry about that, Andy closed off the links and I was not aware, there is now a link in the first page that combines those fixes in the same folder using my own Mediafire account. ;)

The towing fix is already in the TT folder, just install as they are and overwrite that will add everything from Andy and Birdman. 8)

Take care.

It works, Thank you again to everyone involved 8),

Is this how it should look like? I'm asking because I feel the rope is too high or maybe I'm wrong?
I also tried it with the Bücker Bü-131 and DFS-230 but the hook is missing :P

Best regards

Hello Piotrek1, yes everything is okay, this is a game hook I suppose intended for specific stock types so I am not sure it could actually be set to attach from my 3d model of the target towing contraption underneath, I would just enjoy as it is. ;)

Thank you Pete 8), forgive my question, I didn't mean any criticism I just didn't use gliders for a long time,
towing of gliders is a great option and I hope it will be extended in the future to other aircraft that can perform this function.

Best regards,
Piotrek
