Hi there!
While converting my "Westfeldzug" campaign to BAT I found that my AI wingmen blast away their canopies during the landing sequence over an invisible runway. Mine stays where it should. Can anybody tell me how to fix this?
In the log there seems to be no answer; there are the usual float clamp errors, but nothing, that looks like a trigger for opening the canopy during flight.
The map used is CAN_English Channel/GSpr_1940load.ini.
In DBW everything worked fine, but with CUP/BAT suddenly trees appeared, so I moved the whole thing three grids to the East. Maybe the Resistance...

EDIT 08-09-17:
Having spent another night testing around, I found that this must have something to do with the code for the BF 109. Opening the canopy during final approach does not occur with BF 109 B up to E3 series, and not over regular in-map-built-airfields. Seems to be a code line, which tells the AI to slide back the canopy before landing on grass, which was, as far as I know, quite usual that days. Looks very charming with Spitfires, but is not very useful for canopies like those of the BF 109.
So I moved the whole scenery to the Montdidier airfield. Unfortunatly not correct in the historical sight of things. *sigh*
Dear Admins, I think this topic can be wiped out or the problem passed on to the BAT Development Team; maybe they have an opportunity to fix it. I leave it up to you.
