i have downloaded  the map but getting error follow instruction to the letter.
il2 ultimate edition 4.11.1m installed with madact4 installed
cant find map? did i do something wrong?
im just new with this game and how to install the mods read all the read me that came with but wont work shows up in the list .
was a cfs2 player please helpthanks

Some maps will not load due to either a mistake by the modder or the man that installed it on his drive and into his game:

If you manage to load the map inside your Full Mission Builder, and you cannot save a mission or get errors, press shift and tab while the map loads. Then print the screenshot after doing so and post it here.

can anyone help me,
i have downloaded this awsome map (Grand Canyon)becouse i have got it in DBW and just love it!
now i tryed to put it in SAS V4.12.2 Modsact. 5.3 and i have some issues with the game.
i can't save any mission and can't play a FMB game that i have made after this occured.
i can still play the missions that i allready had and also adjust the map like normal.
the thing i see is that in the saved games is that older versions of saved maps have a MIS file and a Properties file.
and the missions that i tryed to make have eighter only the Properties file or nothing at all.

iff you need any info more. or if i have missed information that are allreaddy online wile surching for 3 days, those are welcome!!

Same here. I love this map and I play it in CUP but I was unable to make it work in 4.12.2 modact 5.3. I tried all 3 versions in this post and still nothing. Gave up  :\'(

When not being able to save a new mission on a certain map (but still can play existing missions), it means the game version (in this case V4.12.2 Modact 5.3) misses an object that is included in the manually installed map.
That is: the static.ini misses -at least- one object that is in the actors.static.

The Universal Static.ini Checker is a tool to detect the missing objects.

When done and the name of the object pops up we can try to get it somewhere.

This is what I did to make this map work in 4.12.2 ModAct 5.3.

1A) Install the version found in the first page (forget about the LALRone's hangar mod)
1B) Optionally, overwrite with the the last version from SAS~Tom2 (Reply 101)

2) Now, I run the Universal static.ini Checker and it found 9 missing objects. Instead of downloading and installing these objects, I replaced them with some stock barrels:

Add the following to the end of your static.ini found at \#SAS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\static.ini:

You will have some hangars and other objects replaced with a bunch of barrels. This seems the best approach to quickly have more maps working without worrying about missing objects! ;)
