could someone please put this mission into the DOGFIGHT mission folder
give the carrier a homebase with an aircraft on it
start a dogfight server and select this mission and report your findings back here please....

Why would one want to do that?
It's not the right way to put aircraft on a carrier. They will fall into the water if you do it like that.
Instead, select the initial spawn waypoint of your aircraft, click "Set" and click on the carrier to assign your aircraft to the carrier.
That's what has been done to the Intruder on this test mission.

the mission has to go into the ''DOGFIGHT'' folder
when you go on line and host a ''DOGFIGHT'' mission one has to select a home base..
your mission has not got a home base
I put a home base on it and the game locks at 60%
I would like you to put a home base on your mission and try it in the ''DOGFIGHT'' folder as hosting it on line....
I can do this is the previous build ....and all work fine.....
but not this latest build.....

sorry as this is the only way I can get it to you.....but please try a dogfight mission in your install with carriers,homebase ect....and see if it works for you...

I don't see a point in trying to host a dogfight mission with BAT as BAT is strictly meant to be used offline.
I won't try to squeeze an egg trough the eye of a needle either.
You can try yourself but YMMV, as it does right now apparently.

Well it has worked online just fine until the last update....and the patch.....these two attempts did not help out online ....but until then...all was fine....ZUTI got the online dogfight working way back when...and it has always until now stayed working.....with a little luck we can always hope it will sort itself out in the next major patch.....
what is YMMV?.....

ahhhh....ok :-)
.....we will happily fly all eras ''on line'' in the operation sea lion version in hopes that when the next complete update comes it will all work as this one does.....It has happened before when our N-17b would not fly and then the next update fixed it...
we sure soooo much appreciate all the hard work and dedication put into this...the very best to all who contribute ....it is far beyond where you started from.....and just continues to get better....

Hi guys!

I hope this is the right place to post my question/problem.

As I am still a new user of BAT I noticed a problem just recently.
I want to create a dogfight map with several available homebases.
But when I add additional homebases I have the problem, that these aren't shown in the mission planer after loading the map.

the problem with some pictures:

I created a third homebase in the FMB, after the mission works before with two bases. visibilty is selected (don't understand the use of that...).
I saved (overwright) the mission in the DF section.




The mission is available in the server list as before.



But after loading, the third homebase is missing!?



I suppose that there is a "new feature" in BAT, compared to HSFX, that I do not know?!

Can someone help me out, please?

problem development:

I just tried something out:

I created a complete new mission.
Here I installed four homebases at four random airfields. Each homebase refers to a different colour.
Worked after loading.

I re-opened the file in the FMB and added four additional homebases, one for each colour.
Worked after loading.

I'm confused!
