Installation:

1. Download, unzip and put the MiG-21-93 folder in your Mods folder.
 
2.  Add this line to your air.ini

MiG-21-93         air.MIG_21_93                         NOINFO  r01   SUMMER

3.  Add this lines to your PLANE_RU

MiG-21-93              MiG-21-93(UPG)                     "Bison"  1994   


List of revisions for 21-93:

1. The radar screen has been replaced by MFD.
2. Added HUD.
3. Changed the cockpit glazing.
4. Added containers with countermeasures.
5. Added an antenna SPO (RWR) on the keel.
6. The R-73 missiles were added to the armament set.



The MFD (multifunction LCD display) works like a normal Mig-21 bis radar, but when you press the "C" button - go to the radar of the circular view.
Also added options: fuel dump, flare dispensers and siren warning missile.

  Mig-21-93 is available in two versions:

Mod 1 - limited version of modernization - items 1, 2 and 6 of the list of revisions (supplied as standard).
Mod 2 - version of the complete modernization of all the items of the list - optional.



To get Mod 2, you need to rename file hierUPG.him into hier.him (made copy before).
To get back for Mod 1 - you need to rename file hier93.him into hier.him (made copy before).

All skins for Mig-21 bis compatible with 21-93 Mod 1.
For Mod 2 - compatible skins from Fresco23 - IAF Mig-21 Bison only.

Hi Bison_M,  thank you very much for this jet it looks fantastic, I have all the requirements installed but I am getting an error at mission load in both QMB and FMB test flight with your jet the only aircraft in the mission, I have Unified Pack Mig-21`s installed and working, would be grateful for any help to fix, il2 4.12.2   SAS Modac 5.30



 




Mission loading failed: Mission Cancelled, Error in FM!!! There was a problem loading FM called: 'flightmodels tumanski.emd' It is not present in file: 'mig 21u new'

Hi all, I was having the same issue so what I did was make a copy of the Mig_21_93 file and renamed it Mig_21U_NEW so that you have both files. This worked for me.

I'm sure Bison_M will have a better fix later.

Good morning thanks for the  Amazing mod .in the begining i had the same fm  error ... phantom fix i bypass but now i have Mission:Null i tried 4 maps at quiq editor ... any ideas? B.A.T. 3.2

I'm glad that you are interested in this version of Mig-21.

As for the problem with FM - This is my mistake, I "lost" this file:
