Fokker DVII
« on: November 15, 2017, 06:08:57 AM »

I have been playing DOF and I notice that the Fokker DVII has a problem with its fm: it keeps twitching around in an uncontrollable manner like a mad grasshopper. This makes it difficult to fly and even worse to fight with, which is hardly proper for the plane that was supposed to be the best fighter of World War One. I have looked at the DVII threat in the Aircraft section where there is much discussion of this and other fm problems. Skipper offers a fix which I have tried and which makes some difference but does not eliminate the problem. There is also a fix by Kant and offered by VP Media but the link is dead.

I have tried every fix I can find and, in short, the problem absolutely refuses to go away. It is clear other people have had this trouble so it is not just me being stupid and, yes I have disabled torque and flutter.

Can anyone help me?

Download Service Pack 2.
It's on the list of fixed bugs.

Best regards - Mike

Lovely. Thank you very much. I should have checked before posting I guess. All I can say in my own defence is that the SP2 has only just gone public.
