I really like the shine of this shadow.
I think it acts on the visibility of the shade "underwater".
I'll be tested with rougher seas!

There was also a mod released that had a modern target sub  that was surfaced until the player got within a certain distance. If that could be combined with yours could be quite good with some randomisation applied to wether sub dives or not.

That looks GREAT! ? Would it ok to shorten the trail from the periscope? I think in real life it would not be so long but I do admire your progress.
