In a nutshell about destroyers of the "Giering" type.
This type was a continuation of the development of the types "Fletcher" and "Allen F. Summer." The main visual differences were the paired artillery in the towers Mk.38 and the length of the ship. What actually and with has induced on "modernization". The basis was taken "Fletcher" MK2 from here:

As can be seen from the screenshots above, the gun mounts have been replaced with paired ones, the installation sites for SAM have been changed, the masts and radar equipment have been changed, and the guard rails have been added to the medium superstructure and helicopter pad.
The mod was tested in version 4122.

From the bugs present at the moment and unsolved problems:
1. Do not work: 2nd twin gun and SAM launchers (or anti-aircraft missiles).
(I have not installed "Clemenceau class, nor" Ship Extension "- respectively, the work of missiles, etc., I can not check.)
2. The possibility of landing on the helipad is preserved, but the helicopter "hangs" over it at some distance.
3. In the existing towers (MK38) only one gun is currently in operation.
4. Possible bugs in the "color" of the damage model of the central superstructure.
5. The flag did not hang; "Gearings" were used not only by the US fleet, but also by fleets of other countries.
6. Radars, phased arrays, "TACAN" antennas "not quite" correspond to reality, but at the moment for "Frankenboat" this is enough.
Perhaps there are other bugs that I did not see or forgot to mention.
