- Working in TD 4.12.2 with SASModact 5.30

INSTALL:

1- !!!***DELETE PREVIOUS VERSION***!!!


2- Add the folder 'A1P_HawkerStorm' to your mod folder


3- Add the following entries in air.ini:

5- Add the following entries in weapons.properties:

If you wish to use the Self stationary Plane add the folder 'PS_HawkerStormMk_SSP. to your mod folder and add the following entries:

Hawker Storm Mk.I K6133, early 1936, soon to be destined to 72 Sq. RAF.
Sadly, this very plane will be lost during a ferry flight in July 1937.  P/O Philip Hughes Crompton KIFA.






Hawker Storm Mk.Ib K7892, April 1937, taking off to 3 Sq. RAF
From this plane the production switched to the sightly updated Mk.Ib, fully armed and the first closed canopy 8-gun monoplane fighter.






Hawker Storm Mk.Ib K8027, October 1937, flying with 87 Sq. RAF
The 8-gun arrangement and the new canopy are clearly visible.






Hawker Storm Mk.Ib L7269, November 1937, testing a 2x20mm Hispano HS.404 armament
Painted in overall Sky finish, this plane was extensively tested during late 1937 but no production followed.
Official records stated it was quickly reconverted to standard 8x0.303 armament then lost in an hangar fire, but some sources talks about a cannon-armed "Tempesta" briefly flown over Spain. Who knows?

mh, don't think so, it's a pure fighter, maybe just a pair of light bombs but i have to learn to add them, first

Very good work. I REALLY like them. A word of advice. Please change the download to include the ini entries and credits to be in the folder download instead of only listed here. After being here for many years, things go missing and these listings are gone. By including them in the plane's folder they stay with the plane for years to come.

Just my two cents.

Thank you guys, sorry fot the late response but i had a bit of flu in last days, and work has stopped

Bombsaway, the readme placement was intentional because instructions were for both plane and ssp as "different" mods, but your advice is of course good, i'll take note for the future

i'm having a lot of problems with radial version trials, don't expect something in near-medium time, i'm afraid.


About skinpack, i have some other skin in production, but i'm wondering if i should upload the template: it was a Friendly_Flyer PSD previously modified by me with fabric wings (cfr: Early Hurris skinpack, 2010), then modified again with Storm details.. is he still around?

Just looked at the screenies, what a beautiful aircraft and model (never seen one before).

I will pass on the download as i will probably mess up my BAT install if i try to install it.
