Talking of screenshots...where are they now?

Hi Guys

In my old DBW install...there was a folder called screenshots...but i don't see it in my BAT folder. (I have the disk version of IL2..not steam)
Is it located somewhere else?

The folder is called "My Screenshots". If you don't have it: Create it!

Ah... now there's a plan :)
Been too long since i played clearly!...one more quicky if thats ok?....Can you advise how to remove all the text in game... most is in the GUI..but i can't find/remember how to get rid of the radio chatter.

The screenshot folder depends on the CloD version you have and whether or not TF patches have been applied.

That's a trick.

In my memory, single "SAS ModAct 5.30" installer makes "MyScreenShots" (no blank space) folder in its installing process and users don't have to make the folder by our own.
But BAT installers don't make the folder and BAT games fail to save screenshots without users' handy operation.

Simply adding a blank "MyScreenShots" folder in the root of BAT's installing folder structure of the installer archive at next expansion pack update .... will solve the problem.


And +1.
Today's BAT screenshot function might lose uncompress / lossless saving implemented by stock 4.12.2m game.
Setup - Misc - Screenshot Type setting "TGA" or "TGA+JPG" are ignored and only JPG screenshot files are generated.

Btw,
stock games of 4.12.2m ~ 4.13.4m make and use the folder "Screenshots" for saving "grab00xx.jpg/tga" screenshots.

Not on the root folder like previous games.
