Will have KC skin in maybe a couple hours- can only get test model to show in FMB viewer, says no cockpit. Probably why I'm not a modder but I can see the mapping correctly in the viewer.

I'm still working on the model.
I am going to solve the problem of the axes of the ailerons, to correct the smooth, and I am also working with the LOD's.
I'm excited, that such important modeling people have paid attention to our work .....
I'm really grateful for the great welcome we received. And the way you opened the doors of your house.

WoW! Beautiful Marine Corps' KC skin!!

All Tankers in 1946 are designed as AI only, not flyable.
New KC-130 is made also.

Please spawn KC-130 as a friendly aircraft and check the skin by Friendly View Camera.

I can wait your works.
Don't worry.

In additional flight testings, I find another problem --- current 3D Pivot (x,y,z) = (0,0,0) is not good for flight simulating.
The solution maybe simple, only tuning "CF_D0 's Attaching values to _ROOT_ node" in hier.him .

Current 3D Pivot (0,0,0) after hier.him offsets is here.

But I think it to be around here. (or a bit more backward)

3D Pivot (0,0,0) works as "Center of Gravity" in calculating flight behaviors.
Nose-up / Nose-down / Tilt-left / Tilt-right become different like .....

New hier.him attaching offset values are ...... perhaps
Code: [Select]
[CF_D0]
Mesh CF_D0
Parent _ROOT_
Attaching 0 0 1 1 0 0 0 1 0 3.0 0.0 0.0
(or a bit lower in considering heavy engines and fueltanks in wings ? "3.0 0.0 -0.15" ? )

Standing style on the ground is not needed to think about 3D modeling.
It is automatically calculated by _Clip hooks , each GearXX_D0 mesh nodes structures / pivots and FlightModel file's Gears section entries, java animation codes in the classfile.

Hi.

Here is add-on KC-130(H) --- (AI only).
https://www.mediafire.com/file/x86gr5g532ns8h3/KC130diff20180130.7z

air.ini
Code: [Select]
KC-130H          air.KC_130H 1           NOINFO  usa01 SUMMER
i18n/plane.properties
Code: [Select]
KC-130H Lockheed KC-130H Tanker, 1965
Temporary this archive has a folder named "C-130 KCdiff" to avoid confusing which file is which part for players / developers.
But It's not conflict to original C-130H files, and after C-130H will become enough stable, We can merge contents in "C-130 KCdiff" to the original folder "C-130 Hercules".

KC-130H uses original C-130H's external 3d and base classfiles. Those Credits are by them.

KC part Credit:
Refuel pod and pylon 3D model: western0221
Refuel classfile: western0221
default texture: ecf111

Mmmmh... don't know why, but it seems that the FM version handles better than SAS, especially for take-off... Hope nobody will take this bad !
