Drop tanks on WW2 planes

Hey all

Dumb ass question, but how do you drop drop tanks from, for example, the Spitfire PR XI?  Is there a button to assign in the controls or do they release using the bomb release button?

As for all the planes having a "Drop tank" there is a specific key for the drop!

I set mine to the “H” key for example
