This was going to be a simple mission video, then I realized the Battle of Monte Cassino meant so much more to everyone that took part in it and that a more serious approach was required. While creating this vid, I found some incredible Mods that I tried to showcase here, like the Cassino map, particle explosion effects, and the exquisitely modeled vehicles, artillery and human figures. The bombed out ruins also helped with immersion. I can't thank everyone here enough at SAS for their fantastic work.
You are truly all very talented and I hope this does your efforts justice.
It's gratifying to know people around the world - from nations that once fought each other in this greatest of conflicts -
can come together here and celebrate military aviation.

Nicely done.
I've walked that ground (it took me two hours walking up via the road).  I can only imagine what it was like for the combat troops.
The Polish cemetery at the top is very impressive.

Much appreciated - I did want to portray the grimness of the battle and the reason for bombing the monastery.
I never felt so guilty after hitting a target.
