No, the one log is enough I think.

Lexx, I have a working copy that I am testing. I have just started testing it so I am not certain that I have the complete fix, but it appears so. If you want to preview the test version, see the link below. I have changed the I-16 squadron, so I think it best if you reinstall the campaign and restart from scratch.

I will test for a few days and if this seems to take care of things as I think it will, I will mark the Tech Help thread as Solved. Thanks again Shakaali….

Okay, I did a brief run of all three campaigns and it looks like they start 50/50 normal. But still, when chato or tb-3 spawns in mission planes just blowing up. And in case of i-15 log file says something like this

Quote
Mission error, ID_04: java.lang.RuntimeException: Weapon set '' not registered in air.I_16TYPE5_SKIS
java.lang.RuntimeException: Weapon set '' not registered in air.I_16TYPE5_SKIS

   at com.maddox.il2.game.GameWin3D.main(GameWin3D.java:235)

I don't want to add full mission log, because it's too big. If you need it, I will send a link to Pastebin with a full log (can't add links here).

That is an error that I recognize, at least. Let me take a look.

Lexx, what version of DCG are you running? If not already, please update to 3.49. If you are already at 3.49, could you post the last mission file you have, or email it to me?

For some reason your version is loading the I-16 type five version that has skies. I have not figured out yet why that would happen.

Oh, one more thing...what aircraft are you flying at startup?

Now I feel like I am piling on but could your also post your dcgerror.txt file from the DCG home directory?

I found a boneheaded error in my class.dcg file. I am hoping this is the issue so disregard my requests in the previous post. Here is a new download:

If you do not want to reinstall the whole thing, just copy the class.dcg file into your Madrid_BAT folder. You will need to restart again I am afraid.

Latest, 3.49. Actually, I'm starting to think, that a problem is somewhere on my side.

But, after more runs with new fixes, I can say that the problems only start when Chato or TB-3 are spawned in the mission. Looks like all other planes are alright. Here's part of an error log with TB-3:
Quote
Mission error, ID_04: java.lang.RuntimeException: Weapon set '1xfab250' not registered in air.TB_3_4M_34R_SPB

   at com.maddox.il2.game.Mission._load(Mission.java:653)
   at com.maddox.il2.game.Mission.access$600(Mission.java:123)
   at com.maddox.il2.game.Mission$BackgroundLoader.run(Mission.java:409)
   at com.maddox.rts.BackgroundTask.doRun(BackgroundTask.java:155)
   at com.maddox.il2.game.MainWin3D.loopApp(MainWin3D.java:108)
   at com.maddox.il2.game.Main.exec(Main.java:422)
   at com.maddox.il2.game.GameWin3D.main(GameWin3D.java:235)

In the case of I-15, things are a little different. DCG just tries to load I-16 on skies, as you already said

I have all full logs of these errors, if you need it.

So far at least I do not think the problem is on your side. The first problem is one I recognize and can fix easily. The second has me confused because I cannot reproduce it on my side. Let me keep trying though. What nation/aircraft combination are you playing?

USSR\I-15. I literally cannot start a mission in this combination, because DCG always tries to spawn all squad in I-16 on skies.

Lexx, I am unable to reproduce the error. It appears that yours is installing aircraft that I do not expect: neither the I-16 with skis nor the TB-3 should even appear in game. For some reason, DCG is making substitutions and that is what I need to figure out. Could you post your dcgerror.txt file from the DCG home directory? That might help me.

The air starts are natural, I think, especially if you have Full squadron density set. I will try to set the I-15s to a particular airfield and see if that helps; I do that with the I-16s.
