I see references to the ship.ini for the object viewer.  Some mod makers include and entry to be added to this file.  I have looked in the i8n of the root folder as well as the i8n in the std folder and I do not see it.  Is it hidden?  Does it have to be created and if so how is this done?

The path is

"Mod Folder">STD>com>maddox>il2>objects.

Take a look and see if you find it

I am using IL-2 1946 4.13.4m with IL2 Free Modding Mod Activator for 4.13.4

there is no ship.ini in the mods/std/com/maddox/il2/objects so I see no 3D object view in the gui (i see them in the objects view in FMB) for any of the modded ships (heavy cruisers, yorktown class cv's, essex class cv's, lexington_42).

the folder only contains the below files:

air.ini
chief.ini
rockets.ini
ships.ini
static.ini
stationary.ini
technic.ini

The ship.ini file (not ships.ini) resides on the i18n folder.
This file is the list which defines ship objects which appear in the object viewer.

Save this as a text file named ship.ini and save to i18n folder.
You can probably work out from the text how to add new ships to it.

I am assuming your are referring to the i8n folder inside of the STD folder?

I tried it once before with this entry:

It didn't work so I wasn't sure it was in the right location.  I will try again and see what happens.

I forgot to mention, you also need to add text to the ship.properties file in i18n (in the STD folder).

If the file is hidden then copy in this one to the STD\i18n folder https://www.mediafire.com/file/9dltccaa64wf0wx/ship.properties
