Topic: Some things / questions about BAT (Read 3227 times)

Hi all i've install BAT mod and this is fantastic how he changed my games thanks to all the personn that make this mod so cool and easy to install.
After installation I do like the manual tells me "check my installation" after doing this I notice some problem :

--1rst in jtw the F-16 and the F-14 didnt work the plane spawn but i can't control it and I can't go to cockpit view

--2nd :Some maps in the QMB didn't work I have a message like this :"DATA FILE CORRUPT"

--3rd :When I go to speed with any WW1 plane the plane is going crazy and out of hand

--4th :The map called :"La chute " didnt work at all

If someone can help me for 2 or 3 things I listed it will be great !

Now some questions:
-Is it possible to set the tiger sound mod ? (if no did he exist a compatible sound mod for BAT)?

-Is it possible to continue to add plane even if I have BAT installed ?

-Why does all planes have the default skin of the stock games

Usually happens when incorrect loadouts or something are selected in the .mis file from a previous configuration ; should be solved by hitting 'reset' button before (re)building the QMB mission from the beginning. Works for me in most of the cases.

Sure ! I already have a heavily modded BAT install

But to be honest, BAT contains most of the important mods I needed. By the way, I created clone modules to experiment some options, because I can't stop building new Il-2 installs

What BAT version are you on currently? Already on 3.3 Pathfinder?
Do not judge in-game bugs, until you are at the latest update level.

Yes, QMB testing is a fickle thing! A great many maps, due to the objects used in the "setup" files for the QMB missions, do NOT work in all the eras and you get this spinning/uncontrollable pink plane error stuff.

Try other maps in such a case, preferably those with the era prefix fitting the part you are testing.

If you have an ATI graphics card, you indeed might need that La Chute fix.

Modding BAT is your own business, it's easily possible if you know what to do. Future BAT updates will bring more aircraft to BAT and will overwrite your modded folders and air.ini lists without warning, so be aware of this.

It is recommended to always have clean latest BAT versions of the four main folders available as backup: #DOF3, #JTW3, #TGA3 and #WAW3
That way you can always fall back to "unmodified" latest BAT condition, before you run a BAT update.

I have the 1.0 version that might be the problem i'll update BAT to the latest version. If I underdtand you recommend me to update my game first before add other planes ?

I have a new small "problem" my SU-25 is pink

I try to change it by adding skin but it doen't seems to work any idea haw to solve it ?

Hi all does anyone know why my MIG-21 have no sound when flying ? I try to see in my log.lst But he does not seem to want to work properly because he only shows me the mistakes of another mission.

If someone have this bug or if someone know how to correct i'll be grateful to him. Charles
