Does anyone know if there is a Spitfire Mk IX open canopy mod floating around? Any help appreciated.

No open canopy for all Spit 9 (4.09) !     
I think I must remember the mesh (plane folder) and perhaps (I remember more) also that of the folder cockpit.

Thanks man, this is great. It even works on the Karabas Yak-1 variants. Yak 7 seems to be affected in some way as they can't be scrambled in the QMB; at misdsion start you are afloat with damaged propellor, crashing into the runway. When flying 'normaly' the canopy opens ok. Is there a chance to get the external ones extended to internal as well?

AAF46F6E19676E80  is the "exterior" open cockpits for all Yaks and key-master file to the "interior" open Yak canopies to be set individually.

Originally file AAF46F6E19676E80 was THE open Cockpit for/and within Yak-7-37; so this class file cannot exist without this mod. Hence Yak-7's jumping in the air becomes corrected by Yak-7-37.
( Install of 7-37 in 412 SAS 5,3 works; ...something in this mod's files provides what is missing...   but I had no time to isolate the specific items of need... yet. > )

File AAF46F6E19676E80 11/24/2013 within, dedicated to Yak-7-37, is then best replaced by more recent AAF46F6E19676E80 (1/8/2015), the generic for all yaks.

Been testing this in 412 SAS 5,3 for more then a month: pretty sure by now all variants work fine.

- Old NTRKS are best replayed without it. ( Ever opened: I use jsgme to retrieve the four classes... ). New NTRKS records playback do not close canopy; so, when recording, open canopy on arrival/on final does work however.
 - Extra Note; known issue: Yak-11, which has no-open canopy, has  cockpit forward base on Yak-7 or such; "open all yaks" makes that pit open, but sadly: sideways.
 - Update:  all four minimum classes must be added or retrieved at same time, as a quatuor: gear yak-7A,B and yak-11 will malfunction ( become upside down ) otherwise.
