As a follow-on to the earlier posting I did of F-82F skins for the updated Twin Mustang (see 4/18/18 post under US skins) here's a small pack covering the F-82E, long-range escort fighter version of the "twin horse". I've included both HD and 1024 skins in the pack. 1024s are marked as such. There is also a bare metal generic.  I used the F-82F default to make these.  The skins represent various aircraft of the 27th Escort Wing, Strategic Air Command and Eight Air Force. Various markings cover both early and later operational periods.  Also included are two examples of Alaskan Air Command aircraft of the 449th F(AW)S which I believe was the last squadron to use F-82 variants.

Please note that the skin folder for these should be named P-82.  Earlier skins for other versions of the Twin Mustang are not compatible.  Hope you enjoy them.

I can't seem to get the skins (1024) to show in QMB. I'm running vp_Mod Pack 5.30, 4.12.2m. All skins pink in P-82E and F-82F. The aircraft are fine except for the skin issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry to hear it. I have not experienced "pink plane" problems with these skins (either 2048 or 1024). I'm using them in BAT.  Have not had a pink plane problem for quite awhile but recall that normally when I did it was a naming convention issue with the skin. Have you tried renaming them maybe dropping the "F82" at the beginning. Just a suggestion and I defer to others with more tech expertise.

Im in the same boat as stoney69, running 412.2 HSFX and with both aircraft, installs and fly just fine, but one skin is pink and the other aircraft skin is day-glow pink, strange never encountered this before.

Nope. Nothing I do will make the default skin or Dona's superb skins show. Just PINK!

Same here Stoney, tried changing the folder names and still have the same pink aircraft.  Cockpit is fine just no skins

Ah nuts! I can usually get things working given enough time, but not this time. Hope some else has some suggestions.
