Ok I will get one and install it frist to make sure it will work for you... OK?
Say the D 520 if I can find it...
Hang on. ;)
OK the D520 works well and easy to install.
Download then unzip in a holding folder. After doing this COPY the plane to you Mods folder in game #SAS <------That is your mods folder.
Next check the read me... That comes with said plane.
When you have that let me know......I need COFFEE..

Do you have 7zip?
If not get it as it is a great way to backup your files and folders...

Before you do ANYTHING learn to use 7ZIP.
The best way is to MAKE a new folder on your C or what ever drive you use .Call it anything you like.
Say call it UNPACK.  Copy a file to it then zip the file and unzip the file..   practice run so  to say.
You see you need to make a BACK-UP copy of you STD folder before you do any thing.....
BACK UP and more BACK UP.... Some time you will screw the pooch and need it in order to start your game.
BACK UP will  save your hours of pure pain ....Trust me I have been there like most folks here we ALL have had our time screwing the POOCH...<-----NO FUN....  :(

Put on your SEAT BELT here we go.
Now open your mods folder >  #SAS      Down near the bottom you will see a folder called
STD  this is where you will find the air.ini folder.     ZIP the STD folder before you do anything. The zipped folder will move to the bottom of the listed folder...
After you have done that CLICK the STD folder to open it. The next name will be Com each time you click it a new name will pop up. Keep clicking until you see a list of named folders[the right picture shows this] . The top name will be      (  air   ).
Click open the air.ini folder[ picture on the left shows the opened air.ini] . This is where you copy the  line for the plane ... I have a picture to show you.. Copy the Line from the read-me.
SAVE the air.ini after you copy that planes line into the air.ini.

Now test your game to see if it worked...... Good Luck......

Ok, this is officially melting my head..........I copied and pasted the relevant D520 line into the air.ini folder and then it asks me if I want to save it, but when i click on "Save" it comes up with a "Save As" dialogue box, with file name "air". So when I click yes, it then asks me if I want to replace air.ini......If I say yes, it then tells me that access is denied. Also, when i copy the line in, there is a [air] at the end. Do I save that or delete it?

It should not have the air at the end..
You should be able to JUST click save and that is it.
After you add the planes line into the air.ini in the upper left hand side of the screen click FILE.
Then it opens then you should see save. Click save that should be all there is to it.

There is a setting in windows that gives total control to the user. I don't recall what it is nor where to find it...
You have to set it up so you have total control over the computer...... I think that may be the problem...

This is how you do it.....
You need to be the ADMIN of your computer .

1. Click the Windows Start button and then click Control Panel. The Control Panel appears.

2. Select Large icons on the right-hand side under the View by menu (if you are not already in Large icons view). This will display the Control Panel features as icons. Locate and click on  User Accounts.
 3. The User Accounts panel appears
 4. Click the Change User Accounts Control Settings option. The User Accounts Control Settings dialog box appears.
 5. Windows 7 UAC settings have a slider to change between different notification levels. You can choose one from the following four options:
 Never notify
Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer (do not dim my desktop)
Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer
 Always notify
 6. If the need arises to turn off the UAC to troubleshoot ACT! related issues, a general guideline is to change the setting to Never Notify, which essentially disables the UAC feature.

Note: A reboot of the computer will be required after choosing this setting.
