Hey guys,
I'm back after a Long break. I just installed Il-2 in the Standard Location, now I Need the Patches and other modpacks. I only fly single Player campaigns (I have a desastersoft Campaign which I want to use) what would be the best suited Modpack for me?

Patch: Sas 4.12.2m mega patch
Mods: BAT and/or VPmodpack, Victors sound mod is also nice for sound.


These are 2 great mods BAT has alot more content than VPmod but VPmod is the one to go if flying only WW2 aircraft

Honestly I have a vanilla BAT 3.4 Linebacker and it's the best solo mod you'll ever find , if you prefer WW2 I highly recommend you VPmodpack .

Thanks guys! So first I Need the mega patch for 4.12.2, then a modact? No use to update to 4.13.x? What else do I Need for the VPmodpack?

Get BAT and all its patches aka linebacker 3.4. VPmodpack works with bat and bat comes with modact and so forth. easy one click installation

Yes install IL2 1946 and then update with 4.12.2m megapatch, after that BAT and its expansions, after that VPmodpack WAW for ww2 VP has BAT integration so just choose the one you want.

For VPmodpack its instructions are in the readme, also try using the torrent for downloading BAT much more stable

what about linking him to the actual install threads instead of bombarding him with just "names" of mods? That only confuses, you should know that yourself.

There are lengthy install and content descriptions available.
