The Short S184

The Short S184 was a large reconnaissance , bombardment and torpedo seaplane biplane, built throughout the war with different engines, protagonist of several spectacular actions including the first air torpedo, purpose for which it was designed but revealed despite everything above the its possibilities, mainly served in the North Sea and in the Middle East and on the RN's seaplane carrier.
It is one of the most iconic WWI seaplanes for me.

Place the folder "3do"in the 'Avro_504_K' Mod folder (you needed) and overwrite (after a backup the original 'MU_1_Hydro''MU_1_Ob''MU_1_PIL' folder)

As Alfie says "A dream came true".

To fly on the venerable 184 is a real

pleasure in all provided version.

I have only one issue: I don't see any

torpedo. I run DBW 1.71 (not 1916 pack),

but I have all WW1 weapons packs installed.

I can only do the 3d adapting to Mod already available, the torpedo requires class for weapons and to be used by the plane that I do not know, if someone will make a dedicated slot will add the dedicated class and use the 3D of the torpedo present in "arms", at the moment both the slot and the FM are those of the MU-1 Soviet version of the hydro Avro 504, not very adherent to the reality of the S184 both as performance and as armament, being ignorant in the field of the class and java I can only hope that someone will dedicate himself to it.

Made a quick slot from the Avro java I still had.

Changed the bombs but I need a rack:



Added the weights to a renamed FM so it is not as quick into the air as with the Avro slot.


Anyway, much to do if I take it further, Gio added his usual multitude of variants.

Okay Gio, Thank you very much, I will take a look and make the necessary java for those.

I just took the first aircraft and made a slot to confirm things were working, I will add the others and any weapons they require as I go along.
