Hello Bombsaway, do you have by chance a link to al shallows you made? ;D
Shame on me, did not read the entire thread again today, I just found what I need for editing one of agraciers excellent desert maps, the BA_Shallows_DeadCoral_F.tga! Looks great BTW and prefectly fits to the water colour change I made for these maps.

Cheers

I've never put them all in one zip. Maybe when I get time. Let me know if you need any of them reworked or you can do it. They are here for you guys. Edit them anyway you like. They are free and I dont mind anyone working on them.

Thank you, Bombsaway! ;D
For now I've got all I need, I was working on a (for fun so far) Sidi Ifni texture and water repaint with agracier's kind permission and your desert shallow fits right in (spot on).
Thanks again.. :)

PS: Here's a shot, albeit I could edit the textures to be less contrasting with each other..I like the oversaturated look the map now has. Did an extensive research on the area and Morrocco in general and all photos of the area are extremely saturated with red to orange to purple brown sand and rock and very lush looking.
So I broke all rules of IL-2 texturing and oversaturated and recoloured the tex.
I admire agracier and Uufflakke since their work is so close to reallife and Google map view it is unbelievable.

The water at Ifni is strong to greenish blue.

The same here ... I am always intrigued by new maps, especially by reworks since with reworks, members can focus on aspects on which they have a better knowledge ... improvements by increments is a very good way to end up with great results.

Could someone lend a hand?  I followed the readme to the letter.

DBW 1.7 + bld 4.10

I tried installing this one: http://i632.photobucket.com/albums/uu48/Bombsaway_67/Midway02-2.jpg

Thanks~!

Ok, my eyes almost bled trying to read that. :) It would appear that there is a problem in the maps load.ini for the shallows texture. Please copy and paste you load.ini here so I can help you fix it. :)
