hello,
I downloaded musketeer and found some of my aircraft are pink to begin with I thought download the different dll files however I downloaded both dll 1 and dll 2 (what I usually use) however they stay pink and i don't understand why? I downloaded a couple of campaigns is it possible those are causing it?

If you provided a more exact description than "some", one could look into it.
Also a log would help.

I had a similar problem with several aircraft. The problem for me was that my video card couldn't handle the HD skins. I set my display to a lower setting and things improved immediately.

I believe your issue may lie in whether or not you are using an HD skin mod and what resolution those skins were.

if he's using BAT - which is to be assumed in this subforum - then all is built in and any error may be either his dll or graphic card setup.

yes sorry, it is things like the hurricane mk IV and the he51 haven't tested much, i am using bat let me see about getting a log file

Edit: didn't know what part of the log you wanted saw a lot of errors relating to tga but i was in the WAW module. Here is the log on pastebin hope it helps

You seem to have a problem with your graphic card setup:

Do you even have a graphic card and are you sure the game uses it? I am not a real expert but this looks like the game uses a built in Intel and that's not going to work for perfect game setting or true color skins.

screenshots usually generate inside a  "screenshot" folder in the game when you hit "print".

You have a default skin file in a format incompatible with the color mode you use.
Go to this folder 3do/plane/hurricanemkiv(multi1)/summer/
copy the skin1o.tgb file to another folder and rename it to skin1o.tga
Open it and save it as a 1024x1024 tga 24 bit 256 colors
You'll get a basic tga file of 4097 kb size.
Rename it as skin1o.tgb and copy it over the current file in your folder 3do/plane/hurricanemkiv(multi1)/summer/

INTERNAL ERROR: TGA: Unsupported format (unknown image type) in 3DO/Plane/HurricaneMkIV(Multi1)/summer/skin1p.tga

Same thing for the file in this same folder called skin1p.tga
Save it 256x256 24bit 256 colors It must have a 65kb size

It will solve your problem.

I forgot - you are in BAT, so you need first to extract these files from the sfs files using SFSExtractV3. It may be complex if you are not used to do this kind of things.

Well, there may be a shorcut to solve your problem - copy the following dlls instead of the ones you have in your BAT root folder:

Theoretically they are supposed to be installed by default with BTA, but somethimes for some reason they are not. So try and see.. 

or use this set to get in Full High Def colors (but it may make the game slow on your installation)

Guys, maybe you want to think about it a bit before giving advice like this:

Go to this folder 3do/plane/hurricanemkiv(multi1)/summer/

These files are not accessible in BAT because they are inside SFS. You are talking to someone who's making screenshots with his phone.

Right, I thought of this afterwards 

Ok - I extracted these files from the waw11.sfs archive - they seem correct so maybe it's only a corrupted installation.

So to adress such a possibility of corrupted files, download this archive, open it and put it in the #WAW3 folder

no, i am playing on a laptop so no graphics card, as well as this it is also the he51-c and the hurricane 2d it's only those 3 planes and all ok till this patch sorry i didn't reply earlier lot of uni work. i tried with BAT-01 DLLS but it just turned the hind pink so i replaced back with 2. Is there a way to turn off true skins? i have nothing in the generic mod loader i will give the archive a test and tell you the results.

Edit: i think you are correct about corrupt files i put what was in that archive in my #WAW3 file and it worked i don't understand how ther became corrupted though
