Hi.

I installed the PBJ-J1 and C1 and they were flyable. But the new naval arms sets do not show in the arming screen for either plane. I installed the "Arms" package in the 3DO folder for both planes, but it did not work. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Mandrill.

The Naval arms are just the Mk.13 torpedo, Mk.34 Torpedo, Flares, Markers, and rockets if memory serves me well. What install are you using? Looking at my UP2.01 and my UP3, I dont have an Arms folder in my 3DO folder, so try taking that out of there and just put it in you MODS folder instead.

Here soon, I'm going to rework all my stuff so that everything works properly with either install. Not sure about 4.11 yet, Havent had time to take a look at what's needed.

I am using SAS Modact 2.72 or 2.78 or whatever it is w 4.101. I put the arms in the 3DO folders in the individual a/c. Previously I tried the arms folder as a stand-alone folder in Mods. But neither way is working.

Appreciate any help.

Ok. I have to run to the city here in a bit, but I'll check back to see if anyone has already helped you out. If not, I'll see what I can do to get you going on these birds.

The 1Hc is the carrier version as it's close to historical as I could get it on my own.  Has anyone tried these in UP3 as the modded B-25s are included already. I wanted to see if they all worked. DBW too?

Hi Riken,

Seems like some of the guys who d/l-ed the new late corsair pack may have hit the same type of problem as I have.

See reply #27 and after.

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,21760.24.html

My load-outs for the PBJ's reads "default / 12 x 100 / 6 x 250 / 6 x 500" and there it ends. It would seem that the next entry is the problem entry and that stops the list from continuing to the end.

I'll go back into the classfiles and have a look around. I would think that UP3 and DBW would already have these weapons, and extra weapon files should not be required, as for 4.09, and modact 4.10 series, They would need them.

Thanks for all the effort, Riken. Yup, I have a 4.101 / Modact 3.06. So I might be missing something.

I'll post up a weapons listing here after awhile. It might be a line of code in the classfile that cuts it off, or it just might be that some extra weapons are needed. I know it uses flares, dye markers, and depth charges. I know that those come with some mods here at sas.

Mosquito B Mk16 for SASModact and Ranwers PBY mod. If you dont have those, download them and put them in and see iif that helps. If it does, then you'll just need the weapons aka Arms folder and place it in your PBJ 3do folder.

If not, the n I'll check the classfile for any errors. ;)

Thanks for the heads up.

EDIT: Posted a new Arms download under the PBY download. Give it a try Old link seem to be dead.

I already had the B16 and it doesn't help.

I d/l-ed the PBY and it did the trick. PBJ's work fine now. Thanks for the help.
