Absolutely love the naming convention and stuff on the Arming screen, love the names and layout of the properties file.

Tested it out and all seems good so far, will need excessive testing online for sure. 8) Very excited and cool, calls for me to make a new GUI screen for the menu and stuff I suppose since mine still says UP3 RC4 on my custom backgrounds.

Question: Are the Add-Ons still valid?

I didn't read anything about them in the read.me.

Not worked for me.....JGSME as it should be, but start screen says version 3.2 and crashes CTD at 60%. Before i get into logs etc. I wonder if the fact that I'm on Window 7 Professional but 32 bit? Also I don't seem to have a Selector. Perhaps one or both of these could be a factor, together with being greatly technically challenged!

Gubi suggested on our board that it might just be a corrupt d/l as I have been able to reinstall 3.2 and it is working.

I don't seem to have a Selector.
That's shocking. Are you sure? I can't imagine how the installer should get your game to such condition at all. Really. Can't.

Other than that, it's known that additional custom mods can cause all kind of incompatibilities.
For such kind of issues, there's a way to "factory reset" your Ultrapack game so you have a fresh vanilla UP3.3:

The 'install UP3.3 for dummies' (factory reset) did the trick. Thanks!

The 'selector' thing is a mystery. doesn't launch from there now and doesn't appear in the game directory. Nevermind, hoping to upgrade in mid October, so not bothering to reinstall game now....'if it ain't broke, don't fix it! :)

Thanks for help.

You could check for the presence of the regarding files in your jsgme folder.
"jsgmemods/#UP#_Enable_UP3.3" should have these files:
Code: [Select]
cmd.exe
console.exe
dinput.dll
DT.dll
files.sfs
IL-2 Selector.exe
il2fb.exe
il2fb.ini
Mod Settings.pdf
tee.exe
wrapper.dll

If any of these files is missing, then this might indicate that something on you PC blocked the file(s), maybe antivirus?
Because the installer will put the files into that directory, and enabling Ultrapack 3.3 in JSGME will then copy the files to your IL-2 game folder.

Even I , technically challenged as I be, have been able to successfully launch UP3.3 due to the 'factory reset' thingummy. The dog's bollocks, so it is! Thanks to all who developed this new lease of life for the online side of this sim!

For those who UK English is not first language. 'Bollocks' (balls) means a load of rubbish. 'Dog's bollocks' means excellent!
