... many THX to all involved, very nice and useful addition ...!  8)

I had totally forgotten how to link a glider and the AC47 (or Ju52 for German gliders) in the FMB in order to create a mission ...  :-[

So, for those who are in the same situation, here is a small reminder ...

In the FMB:

1) set the AC47 waypoints as usual ...

2) set the glider close to the first AC47 waypoint, and "link" them using the "Set" function (bottom left of the "Waypoint" window) ... done ...!  ;)

... ooops, forgot all these too ...!   :-[

... I know I am not a glider man, I need an engine to fly, otherwise I poorly crash in the first field available ...!  8)

Gliders = AI only !
I find no interest in piloting a glider in the IL-2 game.  ;)

  • Too young to die - too old for my own good

Absolutely great with Horsa and Hamilcar  ;D

Could be fun if they had been flyable - it's quite a challenge

... yep, but the problem with gliders is that once you have more or less safely landed in a field, behind enemy lines, there is no way for you to take off again ...!  8)

By the way, does anyone know what glider pilots were supposed to do, after landing their craft ...?  o_O

Did they have some basic combat training, did they grab a rifle and fight, or did they stay where they had landed, waiting for Santa ...?  o_O
