Hi i'm trying to use this mode but everytime i get a landscape load error.

Here are the logs. I have no idea which logs are needed so I have provided all of them.

What exactly do you mean by check the tga files?

Sorry, I'm not really that good with these kind of things. So could you explain what exactly you mean by checking the files?

You are trying to run OpenGL on a Intel(R) HD Graphics 530. OpengL/Perfect mode in this game requires a dedicated graphics card. You can switch to DirectX mode which probably will fix the issue, but your game is gonna look like something from 20 years ago. Or you can buy a graphics card and run OpenGL correctly, which imho will also fix the issue. It's also possible that you have added a new sun.tga into you mods folder, you can of course delete this file but the real problem is the graphics.

I still get the same message after switching to DirectX

In your log there is the line

WARNING: 'Perfect' Mode is not supported for this combination of hardware and drivers.

This seems to indicate the problem is hardware related. You cannot run in Perfect Mode with your hardware I guess.

Try reading the advice here on how to run in DirectX. You possibly need to edit the conf.ini file -- I'm not certain. Others may have better knowledge.

so none of these tips helped so far.
I still don't understand why it should be hardware related. I have a NVIDIA GTX960M. Shouldn't that be good enough to run this mod?

You did not say that you got a graphics card.
The first log shows that you are running on an Intel HD Graphics 530.
Did you install the latest Nvidia driver?

Yes, I just downloaded the latest drive but still no luck

Ok, now your graphics card shows up in the log and it loads all the opengl extensions. We solved half of the problem.

Now we should take a look at your conf.ini, could you please post it?

If you can you should also post two screenshots (it wont fit on one) of your Nvidia control panel settings, just to make sure that everything is set up correctly there.

Btw in your Windows display settings your display must be set to 32 bit/true color.
