front markers I place disappear

I have noticed a couple of times now that when I save a mission on the War over Italy Map the front markers I place disappear. Is there a trick I am missing on this map?

From a clean loaded map? Should not happen.

Do you want to modify an existing older mission?
I only encountered the disappearing front markers on modded maps with older .mis , that have destruction brush entries made in an "older" map version. This seems to throw FMB off balance when there's a modified actors file that does not match the expected info from the .mis.

hmmm strange. It's a new mission I did use the destruction brush. Had it happen twice so I just used another map and everything is working fine. It was just the War over Italy map.

I use this map a lot for building both static and dynamic  campaigns and I have never seen this issue.
