« on: March 02, 2020, 08:47:35 AM »

Ok..Ive D/L this ..1: I believe that this can be used for DBW 1.71.
2: I followed Instrns and copied all files etc into my main game folder .
3: ran IL-2 selector once to set it up for DBW.
4: Now game is crashing  on loading at 60%.
5: I can attach some Log files for someone to look through..which Log? Initlog.lst or log.lst or   startuplog.
6: tried starting with il2fb.exe..same crashto desktop.

That's absolutely unrelated to the selector.
You've added a plane but the plane's flightmodel is missing.

Ah. Thank you sir...I was assuming it was something like that but I haven't found the culprit yet.

Sorry persons.. But just one more ask... Could a 60%er be because of other Mod conflict with Selector? Did I read correctly.. Or wa it because I inhaled,  that this selector has Modact5+ included? Cannot find the offensive plane yet.

ModAct/Selector cannot cause you issues on a vanilla/clean install. You yourself have put something or tried to upgrade.

What game? What version? What did you do? What did you add? You have to be more specific; we don't have crystal balls that tell us all this information, and if we did, well, we'd strike you with lightning. 8)

Edit: Wait, why did you use a selector for DBW..? What was your goal..? If DBW was working as is, why add this..? Sorry I don't know anything about DBW.

Instead of giving a few lines of your LOG you'd better provide the whole LOG!
If it's the Selectyor that is causing problems then you won't have a LOG or more exactly the LOG will be the one from the previous start of the game.

Read how to get the log here, and the instant log here.

When you want to post only the relevant parts from the log
read here how to do this. (code option!)

If you want to post all lines of the logfile we suggest to use https://pastebin.com/
to paste your log and then paste the link here which you got from them.
Read and see here how to do this.

Hence why I asked for advice on which log to insert here, as I said in 1st post..I know how to post log.. i wanted to put the relevent one up..but as you have now explained ..if selector didnt work there'd be no log...méfiez-vous de coller votre tête au-dessus du parapet, il y a des tireurs d'élite partout...very good advise they say..
