Credits go to agracier and realdarko, the original makers of the map and all who worked on it before me.
I dont know all the names of those so please, if you worked on this map let me know and I will add your name to the credits.

Credits for this update are me and Mandrill who worked on the map_h file.

Let me tell you that this map's map_h was a nightmare to work with and Mandrill will attest to that.  :D It is still not perfect so
you may see these issues but there is almost no way to fix it without messing up the surrounding area.

As such, several airfields had to have their runway textures removed due to the issues with map_h. I also add the the missing take off points to the water runways that had everything but them and that kept them from being usable. I did the best I could with what I had to work with so I hope you all will enjoy it. Also, I know that some areas such as Iwo are not historical. I just used what was already there.

I'm just adding to the list of updates to this map and I welcome anyone to take my work and move forward with this map. Especially by removing all those idiotic " row of trees " objects.
They look so fake it's not even funny.
I may remove them in a later update but right now, I'm uploading this as a beta version for you all to test.


I hope you all enjoy it.

Also, I made this update using BAT so if you use another version of the game you will have to find any missing objects here on the SAS.


Update 1.2 I've done some more re texturing at Tokyo and other cities along with adding just bit more snow to Mt. Fuji. I also found a way to change the ugly " Row of Trees " with a less offensive looking one. Granted they are both those " card trees " but the new ones are not as  obvious as the original.






INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE TREES.

Open the MAPMODS folder in this zip and then the 3do folder and take the Tree folder and add it to your 3do folder in your MAPMODS/3do folder.

Then MAKE A BACK UP COPY of your static.ini file and put it somewhere safe for later.

Open your static.ini file and search for " Trees&Plants " without the quotes of course. Copy and paste my text included in this zip over your original entry and save the file. Now you should have the less offensive trees.

Me and Agracier were the original makers as I wanted a map to fly very long range P-51 operations over Japan mainland.

Congratulations, Bombs! It's a great looking map and in reality, the credit for the update should be yours. I contributed very little of the work!
