Here is the problem.  When I load up IL-2 1946 BAT in Mapped mode, my Joystick Axis are not recognized by the game.  If I load it up in Direct Mode, then the Axis are recognized.  This is a major problem as some of the control setups I have involve macro's to make flying a little easier.  I can, for example, have one button set to "Reset all Trims" instead of having to reset each one individually.

I know that when I flew years ago on Windows 7 under UP and DBW I flew with my full CH HOTAS setup in Mapped Mode without any issue.  The only things that have changed since those days are: My PC (new and upgraded), my OS (went from Windows 7 to Windows 10), and the Mods I'm flying with.  When I fly IL-2 GB it works fine in Mapped Mode (I know, different game but . . .).  So I know it's not a hardware issue.

Ok, so I checked with VP and IL-2 1946 with just patch 4.12.2m installed.  They all have this issue.

Anyone with experience with CH Products have any ideas on how to fix this?

I solved it.  For the first time in the entire time I've used this hardware setup, I had to assign the axis of the controllers using DX mode to CS devices and axis.  They are detecting now and seem to be working.  I only posted this in case someone else is having a similar issue.
