Updated to version 3.0, based on 4.10 code.

The new mod is classfile based and will not have to be activated / deactivated between missions.

Yep, that's exactly it. You can leave it running 24/7

One thing I should also mention is that this makes every night moonless or near-moonless as well.

Excuse me. In 410 there's a better sky. I'm askin' if you could port it into 409. I think it's coded as the darker night.
