After much practice and debate, I have decided to give it a whirl and try my hand at skinning. Please all remember, I am still learning, and nowhere near the caliber of some I see on this site, but as WW1 is somewhat of a neglected area (and my favorite air war era!) I feel I can perhaps in some small way contribute.

Hi Jagdpanzer

WWI is also my favourite era and I'm glad you decided to make skins, from the screens shots they look excellent to me.  :)

You have been very productive, please keep up the good skinning work!  ]thumbsup[

Best regards

Thanks to all for the kind words.

For your consideration - two new Fokker DVII skins of Jasta 30. One was flown by Oblt. Hans-Georg von der Marwitz of Jasta 30. He would eventually command Jasta 30 and finished the war with 15 confirmed victories. The other is a skin of a DVII flown by Lt. August Hartmann, who's personal insginia was a witch flying on a broom while outfitted with helmet, goggles, and scarf!

When flying Albatros DVA's and Pfalz DIIIA's Jasta 30's unit insignia was a orange diamond. Sometime in 1918 the diamond insignia was apparently abandoned, but usually their aircraft retained the color orange in some area of prominent display.

Drop these skins into your FokkerDVII or FokkerDVIIF folder.
Download them here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/7mwtkdi8vp1cxty/Jasta+30+Fokker+DVII's.rar/file

Thanks to Murdoc for the excellent Fokker DVII templates. :)

Another recent work.
This is a skin of a SE5 flown by Capt. Edric W. Broadberry of 56 Sqd. RFC at Estree Blanche France, July 1917. While being grounded during bad weather in early July 1917, the pilots and mechanics of 56 Sqd. passed the time by painting their machines in a variety of gaudy schemes, in imitation of the German pilots they faced in combat. Capt. Broadberry's mechanic painted a crocodile head on the nose and full crocodile on the fuselage of his aircraft. These paint schemes were short in duration, because once 9th Wing RFC became aware of them, they ordered them removed asap. It's a shame, because it suits these aircraft.

Although the original paint scheme was on a SE5, I have included skins for both the SE5 and SE5A in the download.

Again, thanks to Murdoc for the template. Without his work skinning for DBW 1916 would be a LOT tougher.
