Here's how idiotic things are here this morning: I just started and, one hopes, eliminated a thread on this question in the BAT Tech Help category.  Duh.

Just a few days ago I joined the Great Battles community, and I'm happy to report that with the aid of the user's manual available at the link given below, I've already figured out the basics of this remarkable version of Il-2. There is one question, however, for which I can't find an answer in the manual, regarding editing of records. In order to compensate for the lack of complete visual acuity inherent to the sim, I use the floating markers to identify other aircraft. In earlier forms of Il-2, there's a switch in the records menu that makes it possible to eliminate these markers when viewing records. Is it possible to do this in the Great Battles suite?

"H" removes the complete HUD (including icons), "I" removes icons only. It works "on the fly" when reviewing tracks.
