Skins marked NEW are now up to latest research, Skins from my older Packs not affected still having the approved quality Mark,
except the known Schnitzer. It's a bit large, I can't do anything about that. It's still to be worked at, atm. adding
latest Japo in CZ additions and many other previously unknown Turbos.

I can present you a neat Me262 Skinpack with the latest Werkenummer=paintscheme accurancy.
At parts of application it's still doubtfull, but I gave my best to squeeze everything about blurry pictures or sharp reproductions.
But some Semis where underpainting traces confirms are to be found here too.

Anyway, lot of requirements to run.

*Mods availlable
-V056 Mod has been re-released, search in WIP for that...
-The Trainer variant was a Mod from the past, please use the search function at SAS1946 to receive Info about it's whereabouts,
or use CS-92, it's as good as that...
All other Modifications are fairly easy to find...

Requirements, I recommend BAT 3.8.3., as it is fully compatible with Antos Ultimate Me262 Pack and all subsequent sister Mods using this as a base.

Wishing you all a happy flying

Hi Friends,

Thanks to Gerhard for pointing Eric into the direction.

Actually I switched at some of the heavy weight Skinpacks to an external hoster,
as M4T Server took ages or gave me corrupted Links, when the upload was too lasting.
My provider is prone to gremlins too, known for unstable connections
on the old contracts I still use. I hope to switch to a better access point next month.

Glad you like them, have fun

Cheers

Review of Squadron Signal 1212 Me 262:

At parts newest knowledge base included, no Kommando Nowotny Stripes,
That's worth a Wow!!!
but still Errors popped up:

notably the Kommando Schenk myth on Page  32 as part of the
Me262 Jabo or Me262 A-2A question, which is getting more obscure as Mr. Stapfer tries to
recollect the whereabouts...

Kommando Schenk saw the intruduction of the KG51 codes first, a week later these where carried on to the Units home at Rheine/Hopsten, as more and more factory fresh Me262 saw inclusion.
The ever so called "Black Single Letters" are inventory of Epropungskommando Lechfeld, none of their Inventory was ever part of KG 51 or Kdo Schenk, KG51 Pilots where allowed to fly on their Training at Lechfeld.
This Trials Unit was last reported to be existing as late as 1944/September/October.
Original Lagestandsmeldungen of real Kdo Schenk reported none of the initial Black coded EprKdo Lechfeld Inventory. That stuff is neatly recorded in German wartime archives, huppy hunting.

On page 39 Mr. stapfer claims the 170312 to be a A-2A, well he didn't watched the various reels of this Kites capture, as the left side beared exactly 4 Mk108 and the Wikingerschiffracks and even Bombs littered around, putty seams showed to be at the place where the racks once were placed. Buy some optics.

Late Leipheim Jabos are indeed A-2As, Okay?!, again Mr. Stapfer not sighted all reels of Leipheim late war prizes,
eyepokingly both 4 Mk108 and Wikingership presence. No single placard bullshit as he tries to tell.
Maybe change the ophtalmologist, at my side it helped after surgery.

Placard for 2 or 4 Guns, in a such partly manufactured situaltion at Me262s, which forced labor or any
other Worker would have nerves to tackle the proper placard placing? Did anyone cared at all,
tracing late Me262, aeverythings in place, but Service Markings.
German precision cannot be accounted for late Me262 production.
say bye-bye.
Show me a late production Me262 that is fully painted and has Service Markings applied,
which come with every Decal Sheet?

To me the conclusion is, Mr. Stapfer is not capable the Englisch languague at full scale,
obviously he must be at a lower standard, since he neatly adopted other parts.
Though some archval Records are in German lang, so there's no excuse after all.

4 of 5 Stars for his research.

4 historical Me262

1 is the late livery confirmed of Me 262 A-1a B3+HL 3.I. KG(J) 54.bmp
aka Werkenummer 110943 which crashed at Kitzingen.
This a late livery was applied after intense repairs, cannibalized parts.
Werkenummer on latest appearance missing. It goes inline with other 3./KG(J)54 in a extensively
mottled character.

B3+IB found derelict at Prague-Ruzyne after war (Werkenummer unknown)
B3+AL possibly photographed at Giebelstadt (german source)

a more detailed remake of 9K+LK "Black L", most Skins were too clean and missing neat
paint up details and the spare parts mess not showing in detail

more to come...
other historicals after photograps will include B3+DM Prague-Ruzyne (Werkenummer unknown)
and leftover 9K+OK "Black O" W.Nr. 111726(?) left at Zatec/Saatz.
9K+KN & 9K+LH will be later too, these where found at a trashdump in Holzkirchen,
possibly taken over by KG(J)54 Stab and used up for spares. How these KG51 Kites made it there remains a mystery.

At KG(J)54 late Pilotlogbooks are irritating, at the late style single white and black Numbered
Tactical Kites seem to be of no trace, instead more and more old style Bomber coded Turbos pop up
in Photographs from wars end. Around time of their stay at Zerbst AB they begann naming with the Numerals
at I./KG(J)54, still a lot of inconsistency on behalf of that.

The late war Hogeback style maybe just established at 3./KG(J)54?

atm. R/L troubles and on top of that the death of a close relative will see me more Offline.
Can't do much about it. Have to take care

Best wishes
Tobias
