Indeed the profiles of the two ships are apparently similar ...     ;)

'cept for the number of funnels!  :) Anyway i agree with you. Maybe it's due to their '20 early carrier flavor or maybe to their strange "pointed" deck, i too find them very similar. If i were a modder i'd model Dorsetshire and Cornwall but since i'm moving my first steps in 3D i'm afraid it'll take a loong time! ::)

The WoWS Vampire model oddly featured twin 13mm Breda (Italian) guns on the bridge wings. Seems wrong, so I am considering replacing them with twin .303 Lewis guns.
The Lewis guns are borrowed from a War Thunder Vosper MTB model.
Does anyone know better what would be correct?

Before - with Breda guns

After - with Lewis guns

Hi asheshouse,

according to Campbell ('Naval Weapons of WW2') - Lewis 303.

Janes just gives 'some smaller' in the weapons list - very helpful... :(

Well, I can find no reference to Breda guns being used. Seems unlikely.

Not always totally reliable, but Wiki says the same
Note - for some reason the link won't go straight to the correct page - just re-click on the HMAS Vampire link at the top.

Good links. Thanks. Think I have it sorted now. The 4x7.7mm is consistent with 2 x twin Lewis on the bridge wings and 12pdr will be a 3in HA gun.
So another fix, and now I am ready to start enabling the guns :)  It really would not have done to have all that Regia Marina gear on an RN warship.
