What kind of smoke are we talking about? In this mod, in my opinion there is more smoke than in the one that you sent  :)

Unfortunately, I do not know about Java, and here I will not help you. :-|
Perhaps someone more competent in this matter can make this mod.
But I have noticed this effect by default on some planes, usually on reactive ones. :)
