Using triggers or delayed times, how do missions with large numbers of aircraft work for the multiplayer missions?

Takeoff delays - no problem in BAT and UP so far. Triggers as objects - I didn't use them, but I remember that problems were reported and discussed. Probably on this forum.

Does " large numbers of aircrafts " mean " AI planes " ?

My  philosophy is that multiplayers missions should not include AI planes .
If you want to play against AI , just do it offline !

Purpose of AI planes in multiplayers missions is just to make you use your ammo , so you have no more ammo when you encounter a human player...

Draken's philosophy is understood and appreciated.
Unfortunately, there are not many players online today.
For me, any multiplayer mission (as on the SAS server, for example) needs to have enough AI to make a lone human player happy.

We are joined by mates from australia, the US, Russia of course Italy and other countries as well.  You and others would be welcome to join us. Usulally we fly a few missions they don't last long so being Coop is not a real problem.

Shardana, thanks.
I remember playing BAT online with Italian teams some years ago. It was great fun, my first successful F-4 flights were there. Hope to find time in the future.

Hi guys. Just wanted to remind you all that our community does fly with BAT regularly on multiplayer! Come join us on our Discord server  :)
This is the message i wrote a long time ago regarding this topic, in case it went missing or forgotten.

I'm enry711 and i'm one of the founders of a growing group online that loves Il-2 1946 and plays BAT Multiplayer regularly.
We love to fly together, have fun and generally enjoy, more and more each day, our beloved Il-2 BAT.
Our goal is to create a big, active worldwide community for Il-2 BAT and BAT Multiplayer!

In Multiplayer we mainly play the modules World at War (WAW - WW2 planes and early jets) and The Jet Age (JTW - Jets and props post-war).
We host both Cooperative and Dogfight missions; since we don't have a fixed server, the missions are hosted by everyone that wants to do so.
We cover all WWII teathers and also the Cold War, Korea and Vietnam War.
We fly together every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday at 21:00/9:00 PM GMT+1 and we use Hyperlobby.

Our group is founded and mainly composed of Italians but we are constantly growing in numbers and members from across the globe.
We have regularly some guys from US, Canada, Russia, Colombia and Brazil.
In our sessions, fun and "Severe emotional events" (also known as random take-off crashes or flat-spins) are common  ;D so the fun and games are guaranteed!

We have a Discord server to talk/play and know each other! Discord is an application (very similar to Teamspeak) that permits us to play and talk without any problems.
It's free and you can access our server with the invite below.
You can either install Discord on your PC or just open it on your Internet browser. Everyone is welcome to join!  8)

I'm going to have to get into discord texting while flying is hard.

I don't mind so much getting blown up by accident early because after that you kind of get to be the RIO for everyone while you watch the action.

Got some good turns in yesterday, the missions were really good.  For some reason I did amazing with the P-40N.  I really liked the escort missions that was kind of a furball, lot of action, but I blew up early as me and another player just happened to dive for the same German in this furball.  The other iPiolts are really good, their landings are as good as AI.

I am finding I fly way more seriously on these team missions than on my own offline missions.

Of course playing against Humans is better.  I still remember my blood boiling on Skies of Valor fighting real people regularly.  I was literally the worst, but I pulled off some good maneuvers once in a while..

The group does play apposing forces too.  They are not as direct head to head because it is a whole mission where there are more AI planes than Human...

Though my ass would totally get shot off by Jimmy, Titan, or Phantom is the first merge, but would still like the challenge.  Maybe another day could be added for this theme?

The psychological aspect of it were awesome.
