It's said that had the war just dragged on for a few more months, CVE squadrons still flying F4F/FM-2 Wildcat would be the first in line slated to receive F8F Bearcat for defensive CAP, freeing up fleet CV for offensive ops.
Therefore, I've created a very basic set of skins for stock CVE and Ship Pack 3's CVL, using practically unmodified Gerd's template.
Note: I'm fully aware that squadrons rotated on every cruise due to availability and OpSec issues; I'm merely using the most representative squadron for each ship.

VC-58, USS Guadalcanal (CVE-60)

VC-91, USS Kitkun Bay (CVE-71)

VC-93, USS Petrof Bay (CVE-80)

VC-94, USS Shamrock Bay (CVE-84)

VF-27, USS Princeton (CVL-23); yes, I know that Princeton was sunk way before F8F became available, but that scheme is just so iconic.

VF-30, USS Belleau Wood (CVL-24)

VF-45, USS San Jacinto (CVL-30)

VMF-471, USS Casablanca (CVE-55)
USS Casablanca (CVE-55) was a training carrier, and therefore had no squadron assigned to her. And the few West Coast training squadrons like VMF-471 had such "generic" schemes that they were not worth the effort. However, I've decided to go full retard and paint it like a SNJ Texan trainer.

USN Atlantic scheme, release pending on the availability upcoming USS Bogue (CVE-9), USS Block Island (CVE-21), and USS Guadalcanal (CVE-60).

Or should I release them independent of CVE mod availability?
