P-51H?
« on: December 11, 2020, 09:09:09 PM »

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this but Im wondering since there's a P-47M available to use in BAT, is there a P-51H that I'm missing? I do see a bleepload of P-51D-NA models, is the High Perf. H model hidden in one of those versions?

Thanks

Just had a look through my Blue Edge installation. There's an "F-51," dated to "1948," in JTW, but this is plainly a D model, not an H. It looks as if the closest thing to a P-51H in BAT is, again in JTW, the F-82E/F. It should be noted that the P-82/F-82 originally consisted of a pair of P-51H fuselages, and BAT's F-82 does have the tall, H-model fin. One would think that a P-51H could be contrived for BAT by taking one F-82 fuselage and adding H-model wings and empennage but, not being a CG-modelmaker, I couldn't say what this task might entail.  8)

There is a Beta in WIP, but it's FM is crap.
It lacks a new sophisticated FM. When new FM is ready, that should
hive the Mod from oblivion.

Best wishes
