They came calling at the base - we managed to get two up, and the top cover boys came down to help. We put up a good fight, but there were just too many of them.

With the Americans advancing too close for comfort, it's time to leave what's left of the base and relocate to Salzburg - it's not ideal for jet operations.

The final flight. Time for a last look at Munich before surrendering to the occupying forces. They'd made such a mess of the airfield that landing was tricky - even for a Storch.
