PhilK's 'Hell in the Pacific' campaigns for BAT * v2

Here are the first 3 segments of PhilK's Hell in the Pacific campaigns
Guam, Peleliu & Iwo Jima

3 Campaigns for USMC, flying the F4U in mostly ground attack action during the invasions.

PhilK was a master campaign builder some 10+ years ago, with very historically researched briefing and extremely detailed and populated maps! I included his original read-me files for all the details.

Converted to BAT by editing loadouts, objects, and the like.

Downloaded this campaign but found the following line in ships.ini
  //LVT_2WAT                    ships.Ship$LVT_2WAT                1 icons/shipDestroyer.mat

Had to remove the // in order to get first mission to run in Hell_in_the_Pacfic 1 Guam
(LVT_2WAT ships not showing up)

Ah!

That stupid LVT2 ship. It will not work because it is coded out for a reason.
The ship version does not move for reasons unknown. Therefore, it may show up in the game but simply stays put. These missions I fixed before discovering the bug and decided to code this ship out for the time being.

Let me propose a better solution. Replacing the ship with the vehicle.
It works in a given mission where waypoints already exist. You can't build this in FMB but if you exchange this type later, the vehicle will simply travel the waypoints of the ship. (you could also use a train for lols and giggles with this method....)

I posted a new set of fixed missions as v2. Please get those :D

Somebody modded the land (car) version and somehow the land version ended as the ship version as well for some reason.

Restoring stock models of LVT_2WAT & DUKW_WAT (which is also broken) solves the problem. Worse models but working models: Stock-LVT_2WAT-and-DUKW_WAT.zip

(Both ships seem to be active in all four eras so I include fixes for all four eras)

Since I find taxiing on aircraft carriers in Il-2 hilariously annoying, I suggest the following:

After spawn, start up your engine and then press "A" (Autopilot). Wait until you get "jumped" onto the catapult position when it is your turn. The wings start unfolding and now deactivate autopilot again and take control over the launch.
Now set every aspect the way you want (flaps, prop, whatever... throttle up and "release chocks"... off you go.
