Great, great job! The Lightning is one of my favorite aircraft to fly. This was a great late Christmas present. Thank you!!

Thanks for the lavish compliments, boys! It might seem like the Christmas spirit has overcome me. But it's purely coincidental. Bah, humbug! ;) It's just that I've had the longest stretch of time off (week and a half) in many months, and so could play around, staying up all night getting fun stuff done. I'm more efficient when I know I have at least several days at a stretch where real life is of secondary concern.

During this spell I also took a quick crack at the IK-3, starting within an hour of installing it. A less glamorous bird, but nicely modelled and worth a tweak where deemed beneficial. And it's an early war plane, which holds greater interest for me. You must've already seen the mod thread by now...

Here's hoping that for all of you 2021 kick's 2020's ass!

Some great improvements mate - took the liberty of swapping out your stick for Congos version with lockheed written on it. Apart from that lubly jubly!!
Anyone else suffering from stick shake and porpoising with the P38 in general? Seems to happen in level flight at low cruising speeds.

Hi Wxtech is there anyway of improving the look of or swapping out the gunsight on the P38? Always think it looks a bit 'primitive'?

Do you mean to change from the Lynn-3 to some other sight? Some later '38s did have a K14 gyro sight fitted, but other than those few and the early birds having an N-2 (installed at a rakish angle due to the little room with armored glass also fitted), the Lynn-3 was the standard sight by far.

It looks 'primitive' only because of its clean design. I think it's one of the most elegant collimating sights, if somewhat 'boring'.

Would look good with a gyro sight for sure just think its such a beautiful 'pit and the lynn3 lets it down. Just my opinion of course.

Well, this is 100% better than before. I can see . . . I can FIGHT! LOL, Thank you. This is my #1 ride, and the first time I felt like I could really move around in the pit. Love the gauge lights. Love the gunsight. Love the improved appearance all around. Love this mod.

The cockpit for the P-38 is very nicely made. Very realistic.
I always love the work done by WxTech.
Many thanks to him for his work

Hi WxTech are all these early cockpits upgrades included in BAT  (Flashpoint...) now?

Don't think so, although I've not upgraded yet. If any were, there would almost certainly be a credit given.
