I don't know. I think I'd be interested in a game that had a stylized (or abstract) art style if it had good physics and game-play. UE4 has a lot of features, but unless a lot of things are coded from scratch it doesn't seem that well suited for a sim. So, for what my opinion is worth, game-play may be able to get a project off the ground (and high fidelity graphics could come later).

Anyway - I'm sorry to hear about your year and I wish you the best of luck in the future. Sincerely.

Like he said.

Beauty has to be more than skin deep to hold my interest. Graphically gorgeous games like the various "World of X" games put me off because of their crappy "comic book" physics. Likewise, as long as a game hits a minimum level of graphics quality, I'll forgive cosmetic errors and omissions and will start to look at things like the GUI and amount of available content.

For example, I don't really care about dynamic lighting and shadowing in a flight sim as long as the flight and damage models are spot on and the "important" lights and shadows are adequately modeled; things like sun glare, not being able to see unlit instruments in the dark, or shadows of aircraft against the ground.
