I'm confused about how this grass thing works- I've installed the mod, or at least I think I did, and I followed what I thought were the instructions for doing so, but when I went on a quick "scramble" mission starting on a grass field in order to enjoy the new scenery, I find the "grass" is the same as before, and nothing's different about it at all. So, what did I miss? Is this "grass" thing something I have to consciously put down, as an "object" in the FMB in order to see it, or what?

Hello hoddyman, the grass and flowers are objects and have to be placed in a mission to show, there are some test missions in the original download from carsmaster for you to open in the FMB and play. ;)

Ehm in Win10 it's even easier... Basically it works like in a mobile where you also assign a specific app for opening a certain file type...
The same is true in Win10...
In system settings, yoi can choose the app (program) that is going to be associated with a certain file type... Just assign notepad to opening up .mat files and you are good to go...
I have never come across .mat files in another program so this should be save to do for most of you guys having the same problem... And of course you can undo it again in the same way...

Do you mean that in this way we don’t need to modify every single mission? And if it is so could you provide a step by step tutorial?

Download the option for FMB - https://www.mediafire.com/file/iotcv1wev8h9cju/!_FMB_Light_CARSMASTER_GRASS_v.1.0_x256.7z/file,
enable it, first disable the usual option, go to the full editor, open the desired map, go into the objects,
under the numbers 2787-2791 you will find these objects, put them randomly or sequentially in the right place, that's all.

Hi Carsmaster, do you think it could be possible to have existing campaigns modified? or the process is going to be difficult?
I'm on that shardana! All of my original WWI campaigns are being REMASTERED with TRIGGERS as well! Expect the first package very soon my friend!  Initially I will add the Flora packages using a JSGME option, or a direct addon folder, until it becomes a full part of DOF, if and when that is practical.
