The update from DESPEREAUX works very well in my install, no major issues with the FPS, thank you very much, really appreciated. 8)

For me personally though this mod seems to get everywhere, even paved runways covered in grass and that does not look very good sadly.

My thoughts are that the runways themselves are best left as intended in game using normal textures because the grass is too thick and encroaches onto everything even concrete, the grass and flowers to me are better used outside of them for eye candy on the edges of runway and taxiway to give a little colour and life to the overall scene as they are better than earlier stuff released by others because they spread out over a larger area rather than just around the edge of things so look much more natural.



Anyway, great work from all, really appreciated.

I hate offering constructive criticism on freebies, but it's too intrusive for me. Maybe the 3D grass (scaled down) would be nice in place of the flowers, whilst retaining Carsmasters 2D grass runways? Just a thought. The meadows would be nice in large patches to liven up the countryside outside of airfields - how practical that would be is beyond my poor, addled brain.

Here's what I got trying Poltava's BoB campaign in BAT with DESPERAUX's package. I truly appreciate the work that's got this far, but I'm afraid it's not for me. Sorry to be a wet blanket.

 ;D   ;D    ;D   How beautiful ! This grassy mod I love it! And its improvement has not stopped! This trimmed version is truly spectacular! It would be nice to reduce the height of the flowered version too ... if it were then possible to choose between a more shaved version and a rough grass version then it would be the squaring of the circle! Thanks to all of you for this great mod!

 :D    Ciao Ranwers, if you manage to extend the turf even a little beyond the side corridors, perhaps reducing the height of the flowers and even a little the load of the base module to avoid the flicker and glimmer effect on medium power video cards, then it would be absolutely perfect! we could automatically have grassy tracks in all maps! Great.   ;)

Is this very interesting Mod with the short grass and the shadows on the grass still being defined or has it been abandoned?  :(

 ;D  You're right, excuse my impatience ... the level of immersion that your refinement to the Carsmaster mod offers is truly impressive, for someone like me who loves dioramas, and realism in airport scenes!   ;)

 :(   I apologize in advance for this request, probably nobody cares about this magnificent Carsmaster mod, I as a fan of dioramas and a more authentic immersion in the realism of a scene I had found it nothing short of exceptional. I think I have been waiting for it for years since the first timid attempts fifteen years ago .. well, Carsmaster has created, as always, a marvel and although with some difficulty due to the low power of my video card I was able to use it, thanks also to WxTech and DESPERAUX, then an option from Ranwers extended the grass track to all grass tracks, and anticipated a shorter grass version, Carsmaster also anticipated a definitive version ... but then silence fell on this wonder . Was it really abandoned? I sincerely hope it is not so.   ::(

    I always look forward to version 2 of the magnificent Carsmaster mod on the turf of the airport runways ...
Ranwers had also prepared a very interesting version with shorter grass .. but then total darkness. If I have to resign myself someone tell me.
