MADMICK71, KT503 & oldschoolie thank you for the positive feedback, very much appreciated.

oldschoolie the blue steel issue has been mentioned before but I have not been able to duplicate it. So if you can PM me the details of the mission (a copy of the .mis file would be great) and the version of IL2 your are using (5.3modact, BAT, etc) when the problem occurs, hopefully I will be able to replicate it, then trouble shoot and fix the issue.

cheers mace

Thanks, mace.  It is just using Quick mission, using Norway map, 1 Vulcan at maximum height, attacking airfield. No other  aircraft added. In 4.12.2 modded with SAS Ultrapack, Mod Activator 5.30 and Flyable AI Aircraft 5.30.

Maybe a little problem,

Vulcan B2 with drone carrying option - is in function or not ?

I don't see drones in QMB loadout.

zaxxxx2, I hope you are well.

cbradbury thank you for taking the time to write an excellent explanation of how to attach drones to the Vulcan, very much appreciated. You can read it here:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,67483.msg737732.html#msg737732

As cbradbury explained RP-54 drones are attached to the Vulcan via Full Mission Builder (FMB) by using the Object-Waypoint-Set function (under the Target option)

This FMB feature is used to attached planes to other planes (player or AI).

The sample missions 08 'Drone hunting' (featuring two target drones) and 09 'Eyes of intelligence' (featuring a recon drone) in the Vulcan downloads will give you an idea on how to set up a mission file to have drones attached to the Vulcan at mission start. If you are using BAT, just make sure your IL-2 selector Game Type is 'B.A.T The Jet Age 1946-Present', so the Vulcan and RP-54 show up on the mission map. Link for extracted mission files

oldschoolie , thank you for the mission information, it will help to trouble shoot the issue.

I will download SAS Ultrapack to investigate further.

Thanks for the information,
I forgot that a drone is an airplane and not a standard weapon...

4.12.2 modded with SAS Ultrapack

I am no expert on Ultrapack but isn't it based on 4.10 and has a completely different setup regarding "EngineMod" and the like? For all the online compatibility and stuff?
"EngineMod" as such is not for UP as far as I understand.
So I am not sure if all of the fancy java material is even basically compatible.
