A small cosmetic Fix in the Link, Fortresses have
Weapons.properties and Plane.properties to start with.

This might be a little off-topic but the loadouts for the B-17E/D have always bothered me.  Early in the war, when the D & E were used, loadouts were smaller (maybe half) because of long distance (using extra internal fuel tank).
Also, 100 lb. bombs were used.

It's not accurate when trying to make a mission when the only loadout is twice the amount of bombs than was actually used in the historical mission.
Just thought I'd finally say something about that.

Why don't you mod it yourself then?

If someone wants to give me a complaint packed as hint, spare yourself the time.
Browse my Posts and find me willing to correct stuff.
But not without the necessary prerequesites.
Look into our Request section and History how it is done, the SAS way.
Warthunder or Steam way straight wishy Bla-Bla is a bit unfair.
Formallity, kind asking, evidence aka Mission Logs, Bomb Aimer Briefings

I hate when someone joins my Topics after 1 Year, belated to the party, drops with the door inside
and is doing the I-Know-Better complainy.

Mission Carpet Bombing, motivated by the Lanacter project, our Fortress needs some baggers, whippers too.

Fortress Bomb Bay Upgrade, this was hidden in Barneseys Mod.
Thanks to him for the pre-work.
Above see the B-17F Test cod, housing a few stacks, for some nice
carpet bombing.

Say Bye-Bye to Miles long spray of Ordonance, like a line of pee.
Now the Fortress can really spread some nice carpets, dealing devastating Damage,
together with Salvo options, you now can spread it up to your liking.

New Loadout diagram active Stations

Now we can arrange Payloads in a more professional fashion, at least try.
At smaller lb Payloads, we still need to multiplying Hooks, but in general this is it. A massive streak.
Now that I'm no Monster, I'll add reduced and overload Payloads, when my time permitts I can include historical stuff.
We'll see.

That's it for News.
