Fortresses & Hudsons of RAF Upgrade v.1.6
« on: July 12, 2021, 07:08:12 PM »

Some of you already had the pleasure to use my latest versions.
I corrected all Skins to have slate Grey Serials at CC, red occured very rarely,
sources even indicate no red used in their Coastal Command outlook, just at RCM Units.

atm. work lies here, I'm reluctant to do more early Skins,
maybe I'll pick up later. lazy me...

all major Squadrons, CC, RCM, Meteo, HCU (Heavy Conversion Unit), some funny delivery Skins,

Users of my latest Fortress Mods including Skins, please prompt overwrite
and click yes or delete all previous by hand and shovel in.

since I prepare the M4T upload and that takes literally ages, here's a Mediafire ready to go Link

I made another mistake, before Transit to the Azores both 206 and 220 carrying Single Serials where refitted under 3502 Servicing Unit at Thorney Island
and adopted new Serial allocation
206 Sqn 1+? codes
220 Sqn 2+? codes

That was prior to Oct 1943, will look up all sources as for Dates and correct accordingly. Accidently a few
have still old Single style codes, when they where depicted at Lagens. Sorry for that..

BTW. I shifted a 3rd heavier weathered Template as well, let's see how far it gets...

Another Update,
a rare RWE Unit Fortress MK.III from Radio Warfare Establishment and
the first roundhouse of early Mk.I Fortresses joining.
These mostly 90 Sqn have seen first combat over Brest/Wilhelmshafen 1941,
when later established for a brief period in Egypt, fighting in the Western Desert.

Skins may still be corrected, see additions, ???, as I browse literature, publications atm.

have fun

I think I'm done here, dunno what to Skin, else the plethora of uninteressting stuff.
So we get to an End.

New update includes definite "J" and "L" marked Kites known/depicted as actual in use while
in 206/220 Squadrons, for their proper Time/period in Service. J and L are switched in Squadron Lists in Azores/Timeline
in publications.  Quite a mess as the Authors write correctly, add proper Combat reports, but the List is confusing...

A Prototype Fortress, one of possibly a few skinned here. A later batch Olive drab, when Formula was
non-chipping.

Known Bugs:
Skins for B-17E(stock) need to be redone and ported to a different Template.
Will be corrected and shipped.
B-17D Skins need slight corrections at Markings to sit right.

Thanks for your patience
